Overview

This is where you add Vendor information to your database. You should first complete the Vendor Configuration page before adding any Vendors.

Configuring Your Vendors

When adding a vendor, the Vendor Name and Status are the only required fields.

To Add A Vendor:

  1. From the Launch Pad, click System Configuration in the left navigation panel.
  2. In the Inventory & Items For Sale section, select Vendors. The Find Vendor search field will display.
  3. To add a vendor, click Add New Member. The the Vendor Information page displays

  4. Enter the vendor's name in the Vendor Name field.
  5. Enter the name of your primary contact in the Primary Contact Name field.
  6. Enter the name of your alternate contact in the Alternate Contact Name field.
  7. Enter the vendor's website in the Website field.
  8. Select a status (Active, Expired, Cancelled, Hold)from the Vendor drop-down list.
  9. Select the vendor's primary location from the Home Facility drop-down list.
  10. Click Save. You must Save the Vendor Information before the edit fields are activated and you can add a photo.

Adding Contact Information

The Country drop-down list and the phone number Country Code field default to the country of the currently logged-in Business Unit. Also, if the Country drop-down list defaults to any country OTHER THAN the United States, the Verify Address bar is deactivated and does not display.

To Add or Edit Vendor Information:

  1. To add or edit the vendor's Postal (address) information, click Edit in the upper right corner of the panel.
  2. Select the tab (Primary, Shipping, Billing) of the address you want to add or edit and enter the necessary information. Click Update.
  3. If necessary, select one of the other tabs and repeat the process.

  4. To add or edit the vendor's Phone information, click Edit in the upper right corner of the panel.
  5. Select the tab (Primary, Shipping, Billing) of the phone type you want to add or edit and enter the necessary information. Click Update.
  6. If necessary, select one of the other tabs and repeat the process.

  7. To add or edit the vendor's Email information, click Edit in the upper right corner of the panel.
  8. Select the tab (Primary, Shipping, Billing, Sales) of the Email you want to add or edit and enter the necessary information. Click Update.
  9. f necessary, select one of the other tabs and repeat the process.

  10. To upload an image, click Upload in the top left corner of the page.
  11. Click the File Search icon to the right of the Upload field and select an image that has already been saved on your hard drive.
  12. Click Open and the file path will display in the Upload field.
  13. Click Save and the image will slide into the image panel.

NOTE: You can also capture an image using the Picture Perfect tool that is available in the system.


The Postal, Phone, and Email panels only display one (1) entry, which are hard coded options (Primary, Shipping, Billing, Sales). To change which entry you want to display, click the arrow and make your selection from the drop-down list.
