MyClub Navigation Tools

This section will guide you through the primary navigation links, buttons, menus, pages, and forms of the myClub User Interface (UI)! These pages will also contain valuable insight on how to use each page, feature, and functionality.

An asterisk (*) is a likely indicator that a field, or check box is REQUIRED data.

The ONLY way to access the administrative and set up pages is from the application's main user interface.

Contents

Finding "Home"

The "Home Page" is where you edit the content in your user interface. The Home page itself is your website interface, with a navigation tree in the left panel and editing links in the top toolbar.

To go to the "Home" page:

  1. From the myClub user interface home page, press the escape key on the top left corner of your keyboard TWO (2) times.
  2. The SiteAdmin page displays.
  3. Enter your User Name and password (you have the option to save your login and password to bypass this step).
  4. Click LOG IN.
  5. The Edit Interface page (or "Home" page-see Note) displays.
  6. Right Click on Home in the left panel menu and select Edit OR click the Edit link in the toolbar at the top of the user interface. The Edit "Home" page displays.

Left Navigation Tree

Nav Tree 01.png

The Left Navigation Tree is where the features on the website are enabled and subsequently edited e.g. changing the name of the links as they appear on the website (Free Trial, Join Now, About Us, My Account) and editing the content labels within each page. The order in which they display in the Navigation Tree is also the order in which they display on the website, which can be changed however at your discretion (See Edit Links below).

The links displayed in Bold on the Navigation Tree are enabled. If a link in the Navigation Tree is gray, it does not display on the user interface but can be enabled and made visible if necessary. Since many of these links are accessed from other pages e.g. the Create Account, Forgot Password?, and Log In are accessed from the My Account page, it is not necessary to make them visible in this location. However, you can still click the link to display and edit the actual page (right).

Save and Publish

Save and Pub2.png

The Save and publish button has four (4) different functions:

  1. Save and publish
  2. Save and preview
  3. Save changes
  4. Save and publish in the future

To immediately save and publish any changes to your website, click the Save and publish button.

The expanded Save and publish drop-down list

The three (3) other functions are available in the drop-down list. If you hover over any of these three items, a help text box displays as a reminder of what each of them is designed to do:

  1. Save and preview

This saves the new version of the website and displays a preview screen for your review before you publish that new version.

  1. Save changes

This will save the unpublished version on your computer screen.

  1. Save and publish in the future

This saves the unpublished version and gives you the ability to set a date and time for when you do want to publish the new version.

Save and publish in the future function

If you save any changes using any of these features in the drop-down list, they are immediately saved on your computer screen but not published on the website. A blue-shaded information field displays, advising you that "There is a draft pending to be published."

Draft Pending to be Published

The information field also advises you that if you click the link in the information field, you can return to the currently published version "Click to edit the currently published version." but the new version will still be saved pending to be published.

Editing a Draft Pending to be Published

If you select Save and publish in the future, select the date and time you want the new version to be published on the website and click OK. Note that the time you enter is Server Time and not necessarily actual time pending on your time zone.

The pages and editor are exactly the same as the previously noted New functionality.
