//php print_r($this); ?>
Starting with myClub ver. 2.0.2305.1 you will be able to alter the behavior of the online membership (Join Now) page. Added functionality includes:
- The ability to pass parameters to a page, that when valid, will give you the ability auto-populate data in the first step of a process that previously required entry through the User Interface.
- The Website Administrator will be able to disable the Referring member section of the page.
When these two new features are used in conjunction with each other, the hosting site can effectively cause myClub to bypass the first page of the process, allowing that site to establish the appropriate data.
If the Site Administrator does not wish to prompt the user for a referring member during the first step of the online membership purchase, they can disable the feature.
To Disable the Referral Feature:
- Log-in to the Site Admin
- Right-Click the Join Now link in the Left Navigation Tree.
- Select Edit. The Content tab will display (default)
- Scroll down toward the middle of the page and Clear the Show Referral Section check box.
The referring site may now pass parameters to the online membership purchase page via standard HTTP URL parameter syntax, commonly referred to as Query String Parameters. The chart below describes each parameter in more detail:
|moso_facilityid||If valid, sets the Facility that is used for the new membership and hides the “City” and “Facility” drop downs from the user.||Since the other parameters need to know which facility is selected before they can be set, not passing a valid moso_facilityid will cause the page to be displayed as if no parameters were passed.|
|moso_membershiptypeid||If valid, sets the Membership Type value for the new membership and hides the corresponding drop down from the user.||This parameter relies on a valid moso_facilityid to be passed in. If not present or invalid, the page will be displayed as if the parameter is not present.|
|moso_paymentplanid||If valid, sets the Payment Plan value for the new membership and hides the corresponding drop down from the user.||This parameter relies on a valid moso_membershiptypeid to be passed in. If not present or invalid, the page will be displayed as if the parameter is not present.|
If all three of the parameters are present and valid and the Show Referral Section check box is selected, the first page of the online membership process will be skipped and you will be redirected to the second page.
Additional Membership Parameters for eClub
Starting with myClub version 2.0.3605.1 additional parameters may be passed to the online membership (Join Now) page. These parameters are only valid for eClub customers.
|moso_promotionid||If valid, sets the Promotion that is used for the new membership.||If this parameter is omitted or is set to an invalid value then there will be no promotional effect on the membership. In this case, the user will not be prompted to select a promotion.|
|moso_leadsourceid||If valid, sets the Lead Source value for the new membership and hides the corresponding drop down from the user.||If this parameter is omitted or is set to an invalid value then the page will be displayed as if no parameters were passed.|
|moso_startdate||If valid, sets the Start Date value for the new membership and hides the corresponding drop down from the user. The format for this parameter is YYYYMMDD.||If this parameter is omitted or is set to an invalid value then the user will be prompted to select s valid Start Date and the Membership Options page will be displayed.|
